Due to insufficient staffing, the Lāna‘i Landfill will close at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18 through Saturday, Oct. 21.

The closures are necessary for the department to ensure safe operations and meet the minimum state Department of Health operating requirements of the County’s solid waste permit.

The Solid Waste Division apologizes for the inconvenience.
