June 01, 2018 Surf Forecast
Swell Summary
Outlook through Thursday June 07: The current SW swell will gradually trend downward through Saturday. A larger S swell is forecast to arrive Sunday and peak at or near High Surf Advisory levels along south facing shores early next week. Rough surf along east facing shores will trend downward Friday and Saturday as the trade winds weaken somewhat. East shore surf will increase again Sunday through early next week as the trade winds strengthen. Surf will remain small along north facing shores through early next week.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
