June 04, 2018 Surf Forecast
Swell Summary
Outlook through Sunday June 10: The arriving south swell is expected to peak by early tomorrow morning and hold into Tuesday, with surf heights near the High Surf Advisory level. Another, similarly sized south swell is forecast to arrive Friday. Locally strong trade winds will create rough surf along east facing shores. Minimal surf is expected along north facing shores for the next several days, with a very tiny increase in northwest swell possible by Wednesday.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
