June 06, 2018 Surf Forecast
Outlook through Tuesday June 12: The current south swell will gradually subside through Wednesday. A new south swell arriving early Friday will bring surf near the High Surf Advisory threshold along south facing shores into the weekend. Moderate trade winds will maintain choppy surf along east facing shores. Small northwest swells will produce a slight bump in surf along north facing shores Wednesday into this weekend.
Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near any surf zone.
