2018 Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pā‘ū Parade Winners Named

Lahaina celebrated King Kamehameha I with its annual parade along Front Street on Saturday, June 16, 2018, which embraced the theme “Ola ke aloha no nā aliʻi – The love for our aliʻi lives on.”

In commemoration of the 100th anniversaries of the Hawaiian Civic Club of Honolulu and Hale O Nā Ali‘i. Lahaina Hawaiian Civic Club honored Honolulu Club and Hale O Na Ali’i brought members from Moloka’i and Kaua’i to join in the celebration.

The following is a list of Pā‘ū Parade and Ho‘olaule‘a winners:

Walking/Marching Division:
3rd Place – World Indigenous Science Network
2nd Place – Maui Music Mission
1st Place – Nāpili Kai Foundation

Deorated Vehicle / Float Division:
3rd Place – Kamehameha Schools
2nd Place – Old Lahaina Lū‘au
1st Place – Lahaina Restoration Foundation
