The public is invited to learn more about the Kīhei transportation planning project and offer input during the town’s Fourth Friday event, taking place tonight, Friday, June 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Azeka Shopping Center.

A County of Maui Kīhei Sub-Area Study informational booth will offer details on the planning effort and gather community insight on transportation needs, issues and opportunities.

The project involves agencies and community stakeholders seeking ways to improve Kīhei’s transportation system for users across all modes of travel.

Existing conditions in the study area have been evaluated; and the project is in the process of identifying transportation needs and potential solutions.
