Spectrum to Bring Improved All-Digital Network to Maui Customers

Spectrum TV^™ customers on Maui will soon enjoy access to even better picture quality and 70 more HD channels, as the company moves toward a 100% all-digital network, creating a platform for faster speeds, more content and new features. Spectrum will soon complete the transition to digital service for Big Island customers this month, while O‘ahu customers finished the transition in June.

The all-digital upgrade for customers on Maui will begin on July 24, and will continue into August, with Kaua‘i upgrading later this summer. Spectrum is notifying customers of their specific upgrade date and the need to acquire a Spectrum digital receiver for each of their televisions.

With the use of two-way, fully-interactive digital receivers, Spectrum customers will gain access to thousands of On Demand movies and shows for every TV in their home, as well as advanced program guide, search and parental control functions.

Spectrum is making it easy for customers to receive one or more digital receivers at no cost for one, two or five years, depending on the customer’s programming package and other qualifying factors.

Customers can also pick up equipment at a nearby Spectrum store listed below or find the nearest store online at spectrum.com/browse/content/storelocator. Extended store hours will be available at Kahului and Lahaina locations for a limited time.

Spectrum will be communicating with customers about their scheduled upgrade date via direct mail, bill messages, outbound calls and messages that will appear on their television set prior to the cutover.
