Water Outage on Olinda Road, Makawao

Customers in the Olinda area are experiencing no water and/or low water pressure this afternoon due to a broken valve on Olinda Road in Makawao.

Contractors are on site and working on the problem. Department officials expect water service restored to normal conditions in 6 to 8 hours.

During this time, the Department of Water Supply is requesting all customers in the Olinda area to conserve water to reduce the draw on the Olinda Tank until tomorrow (Friday, July 20, 2018).
