A three day closure of the Headquarters Visitor Center restrooms at Haleakalā National Park is expected beginning on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Portable toilets will be available for visitor use during this time.

The restrooms are scheduled to reopen on Saturday morning, July 28, 2018.

The Headquarters Visitor Center is located at 7,000 feet.

The Haleakalā Visitor Center restrooms located at 9,740 feet will remain open. The toilets at Hosmer Grove, Halemau‘u Trailhead, and Kalahaku Overlook will also be open during this work.

The closure is due to needed facility maintenance.

Park rangers apologized for any inconvenience and thanked the public in advance for their understanding.
