Record High Temperature Tied at Kahului

A record high temperature of 92 degrees was documented in Kahului on Tuesday, July. 31, tying an old record set for the same day in 2015 according to data compiled by the National Weather Service.

NWS forecasters say today calls for breezy conditions with high temperatures near 88 °F and lows tonight near 73 °F.

The agency is forecasting shower activity to increase a bit this weekend as an upper trough approaches. Drier, more stable air is expected next week.
