OpenTable released its highly anticipated 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America for 2018, and it includes three establishments on Maui, one on O‘ahu and one on Kaua‘i.

This year’s winners span 25 states in the U.S. and include restaurants in urban metros, seaside towns, and sprawling desert sceneries. According to more than 12 million diner reviews, this list uncovers the best restaurants for breathtaking views across the country.

Maui restaurants that made the list were Mama’s Fish House near Pā‘ia, Honu Seafood & Pizza in Lāhainā and The Mill House in Waikapū.  Orchids at Halekulani in Waikiki on O‘ahu and Tidepools at Grand Hyatt Kaua‘i also received the honor.

The world’s leading provider of online restaurant reservations compiled the list based solely on more than 12 million verified OpenTable diner reviews for more than 28,000 restaurants in all 50 states and Washington, D.C., collected between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018.

Those looking to enjoy American classics can choose from over 35 U.S. restaurants on the list, and those craving surf or turf can treat themselves to more than two dozen options, each, across several states. The complete list represents a diverse mix of menus for all palates, including Asian, French, Italian, Latin, Mediterranean and more.

“We know a memorable meal is as much about the ambiance as it is about the food,” says Caroline Potter, OpenTable’s Chief Dining Officer. “This year’s list represents an immense variety of restaurants that not only offer an exceptional meal but also feature breathtaking views that enhance the experience for locals and travelers alike.”

The following restaurants, listed in alphabetical order, comprise the 100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America according to OpenTable diners. The complete list with maps may also be viewed at Open Table’s website.
