The County of Maui is hosting a Community Meeting for individuals and families affected by former Hurricane Lane and the wildfires in West Maui that charred 2300 acres.

Discussion topics will include emergency measures and future County actions.

The meeting takes place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018 at the Lahainaluna High School Cafeteria.

Various non-profit groups will also be in attendance to provide information on damage assessments and community recovery assistance.
