Robbery Investigation: Vehicle Theft at Baldwin Beach Park
Maui police arrested a man accused of stealing a vehicle from an acquaintance on the evening of Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018 at around 11 p.m.
Reynald Gonzales was arrested and charged with Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Motor Vehicle and second degree robbery. Police say they located Gonzales and the vehicle at around 5 a.m. on Aug. 20 at Baldwin Beach Park.

The victim told police that he attempted to stop Gonzales, but that the suspect allegedly bit the victim’s right forearm before driving off toward Hāna Highway.
