With the unexpected disasters that Hurricane Lane brought to West Maui, the West Maui Tax Payers Association (WMTA) is working to finalize an official disaster preparedness plan.

WMTA has been working on a Master Preparedness Plan for West Maui for the past 14 months and a final draft can be viewed online. Viewers can see their final draft as well as a sample organizational chart which they hope to complete at their next emergency planning committee meeting on Thursday, Sept. 13 at 5:30 p.m. in Maui College Lahaina Board Room.

More details about WMTA can be found online.
