MACC to host 5th annual Made in Maui County Festival

The 5th annual Made in Maui County Festival will be held on Nov. 2 and 3 at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC). The festival will feature over 140 vendors offering a variety of Maui products, including food, art, crafts, jewelry, fashion, furniture, gifts, and collectibles.

The first event of the festival, the Exclusive Shopping Day, will be held on Friday, Nov. 2 from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will also feature an opening Ceremony at 5 p.m. with complimentary light pupus sponsored by Alaska Airlines. Food will also be available for purchase from 3 food trucks in the Pasha Hawaiʻi Food Court until 5:30 p.m.

Attendees will have a chance to win round trip air travel for two on Alaska Airlines and Grand Wailea Resort getaway prizes. All shoppers will receive a complimentary festival tote. There will be free event parking at the MACC and the UH Maui College paved parking lot on Wahinepio Avenue.

Tickets for the Exclusive Shopping Day cost $35 per person and can be purchased at the MACC Box Office, on the phone, or online. The MACC Box Office is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for window & phone sales. Online ticket purchases can be made at anytime. Children 12 and under will receive free admission to the event.

The main festival event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday’s festivities will include live entertainment by Marty Dread, Pat Simmons Jr., George Kahumoku Jr., and Kaui & Kaumanu Kahaiali’i. The event will also feature fashion and talk shows with master of ceremonies Malika Dudley.  

There will also be 15 food trucks in the Pasha Hawaiʻi Food Court. Attendees will have a chance to win 120,000 HawaiianMiles, a Pasha Hawaiʻi Certificate of Passage good for shipping one personal vehicle to and from San Diego, as well as various products from festival vendors.  

The first 2,000 attendees to Saturdayʻs event will receive a free festival tote. Complimentary shuttles will be available to and from War Memorial Gym and the MACC for those who park at the War Memorial Gym parking lot. There will also be free event parking at the UH Maui College’s grass parking lot. Tickets to the event will cost $5 per person and can only be purchased that day at the MACC Box Office. Children 12 and under will receive free admission to the event.
