Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi board members, political committee members and volunteers interviewed candidates, researched campaign records, reviewed candidate questionnaires and engaged in thoughtful debate to come up with recommendations for the 2018 General Election in Hawai‘i.

The candidates Sierra Club Hawai‘i selected “are the best protectors of our environment and worthy of the Sierra Club’s endorsement,” said Marti Townsend, director of the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi.

The Political Committee for the Sierra Club of Hawaiʻi reviewed the candidates and recommends the following people “to save our islands and our planet.”
