Maui Coffee Roasters was recently awarded the Community Business Award from the Maui Non Profit Directors Association at their Annual Meeting and Leadership ceremony.

Maui Coffee Roasters was selected from five nominees for their contributions to the Maui non-profit and community at large.

“We were delighted and so honored to receive this award,” said Mike Okazaki, Vice President of Maui Coffee Roasters. “By supporting the non-profits here on Maui, we feel like we reach far more people through their extensive network and we try to help as many as possible with their fundraisers and events.”

“We originally opened our roasting business on Lower Main in Wailuku in 1982,” says Nicky “Beans” Matichyn, MCR Owner and President. “Our philosophy has always been passion first, business second. With that in mind, we have also always been passionate about partnering with our Maui community.”
