Family Friendly Christmas Program at ‘Īao Theater, Dec. 10

A family-friendly Christmas Program is planned at ʻĪao Theater on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018.

The one-night-only “Ono” presentation features a toy drive, with all items collected going to The Friends of The Children’s Justice Center. Unwrapped toy donations for older children are gratefully accepted, but not required for admission. Toys will be distributed to children who have been victims of abuse.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the program begins at 6:30 p.m.

The program features Christmas songs performed by Maui Madrigals, a reading of Truman Capote’s “A Christmas Memory” performed by Paul Janes-Brown, followed by Rick Scheideman with his presentation of the Dylan Thomas poem “A Child’s Christmas in Whales.”

The program is produced by Tom Blackburn-Rodriguez and Associated and the Maui Breakfast Club.
