Maui crime log. (12.9.18)

Maui police responded to 10 burglaries, 12 vehicle thefts and 25 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Dec. 9 to 15, 2018.

Burglaries and vehicle thefts decreased from week before levels, but vehicle break-ins were up from the week before.

Burglaries were down -37.5% from the week before when 16 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts were down -7.69% from the week before when 13 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins increased +19% from the week before when 21 incidents were reported.

Kahului:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, 4:01 a.m.: 150 Hāna Hwy, Kahului at 24 Hour Fitness. Non-residential, forced entry.
