Curbside Refuse Collection Rescheduled in Makawao

A personnel shortage resulted in missed refuse collection in Makawao on Tuesday. Trash on the missed route has been rescheduled for collection today, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2019.
Affected areas include: Ai Street; Nane Lane; Maha and Poʻokela roads; ʻĀina Manu, Alana, Balthazar, Burns, Freitas, Hoʻomahana, Kehau, Mahanani, Malu, Mole, Moʻolelo and Paipala places; and all surrounding streets and roads.
Officials with the Maui County Department of Environmental Management Solid Waste Division apologized for any inconvenience.
