Maui Flood Advisory Until 5:45 p.m.
UPDATE: The flood advisory for the island of Maui is cancelled as of 4:23 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood advisory for the island of Maui until 5:45 p.m. HST.
At 2:39 p.m. HST, radar indicated moderate to locally heavy showers falling at rates up to 1.5 inches per hour along leeward slopes of Haleakala.
Through the afternoon hours, the showers will impact upcountry areas from Kula southward and lower elevations from Kihei to Makena.
Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to Wailea, Ulupalakua, Keokea, and Kaupo.
