Plan Your Route: Maui Lane Closures Through March 8

The state Department of Transportation will conduct roadwork at various locations throughout Maui this week, resulting in lane closures and alternating lane closures through Friday, March 8, 2019.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.

All projects are weather permitting.

HĀNA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 36/360)

KEANAE Lane closures on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in both directions at mile markers 7.8 and 15 on Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 8, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for steel reinforcement installations and slope excavation. Traffic will be contraflowed.

HONOAPI‘ILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30)

KAPALUA Honoapi‘ilani Highway (Route 30) between Fleming Beach and Camp Maluhia is limited to local traffic and emergency responders Monday through Friday between 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for rock scaling. Intermittent closures of 15 min. or less may also occur within the closure limits.

KUIHELANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 380)

KAHULUI Lane closure on Kuihelani Highway (Route 380) in both directions in the vicinity of Pu‘unēnē Avenue on Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for traffic signal work.

PI‘ILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 31)

WAILEA-MĀKENA (WEEKEND WORK) Lane closure on Pi‘ilani Highway (Route 31) in the southbound direction between Okolani Street and Wailea Ike Drive on Thursday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., for pole repairs.

PU‘UNĒNĒ AVENUE

KAHULUI Lane closure on Pu‘unēnē Avenue in both directions between Ho‘okele Street and Pu‘ukani Street on Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., for traffic signal work.

HIGH STREET

WAILUKU Shoulder closure on High Street in the northbound direction in the vicinity of Main Street on Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for a concrete pour.

DAIRY ROAD

KAHULUI Alternating lane closures on Dairy Road in both directions between Hukilike Street and Alamaha Street on Tuesday, March 5, through Friday, March 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for underground utility work.

NORTH KĪHEI ROAD

KĪHEI Lane closure with alternating traffic control on North Kīhei Road in the northbound direction between Honoapi‘ilani Highway and Pi‘ilani Highway on Monday, March 4, through Friday, March 8, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for road striping work.
