New Roselani Ice Cream Cartons, Special Edition Flavors Planned
For the first time in more than a decade, Roselani Ice Cream has introduced a new retail carton for its Tropics line of flavors.
“Our handsome new, 48-oz. carton (down from 56-oz.), is in line with our industry standards and is a more practical size for many of our customers,” said Maui Soda & Ice Works, Ltd. General Manager and President of the Board, Cathy Nobriga Kim.
Flavors in the line are Haupia, Kona Mud Pie, Hawaiian Vanilla Bean, Chocolate Macadamia Nut, Classic (Vanilla) Macadamia Nut, Mango ‘n Cream, and Pa‘uwela Sunrise. The company is also planning to release several new flavors each year as “special editions,” each available for a limited time.
Roselani Ice Cream is part of the frozen division of Maui Soda & Ice Works, Ltd. which has been doing business on Maui since 1884. The company has been producing ice cream from scratch on Maui since 1932; the name Roselani was established in 1970.
In addition to its retail cartons, Roselani Ice Cream is served at many scooping parlors, restaurants, hotels and resorts statewide.
Roselani Ice Cream has won numerous awards over the decades including a dozen prizes between 1999 and 2006 at the (former) Taste of Lahaina food festival.
