Pi‘ilani Highway Lane Closures, March 25 to April 5

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation and the Hawaiʻi Department of Education are alerting the public of lane closures on Piʻilani Highway in Kīhei, Maui between Kaonoulu Street and East Waipuilani Street beginning Monday, March 25, 2019 through April 5, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

During the work hours one lane will be open in each direction via a contraflow. Crews will be working to install underground utilities including a new 12-inch water line.

Traffic conditions will be monitored and lane closures may be modified to alleviate congestion through the area. Motorists should follow all traffic control signs and allow extra time to reach their destination when traveling through work area.
