Maui Electric to Discuss Plans Near Waiehu Substation, April 4

Maui Electric will host a community informational meeting on Thursday, April 4 at the Waihe‘e Elementary School cafeteria to address the illegal dumping activity near its Waiehu substation adjacent to Ka Home Ma Hamau Cemetery.

Light refreshments will be served at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Maui Electric is the property owner of the parcel that provides current access to the Ka Home Ma Hamau cemetery along Kahekili Highway and Waiehu Beach Road.

Those who have loved ones interred at this cemetery are invited to attend.
