The summer baking class at the University of Hawai‘i Maui College (UHMC) Culinary Arts Program is busy again this year preparing delectable baked goods for the popular Back Door Bake Shop.

“It’s a small class of four women,” says Program Coordinator and Pastry Chef Teresa Shurilla. “But they’re mighty!”
