The Planning and Sustainable Land Use Committee will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Pāʻia Community Center regarding transient accommodations on Maui’s North Shore, Committee Chair Tamara Paltin announced.

“The committee will be meeting to discuss the regulation of short-term rental homes in the Pāʻia-Haʻikū Community Plan Area,” Paltin said. “Having the meeting in Pāʻia will allow local residents a better opportunity to share their thoughts with the committee.”

Testimony may be presented at the meeting or submitted in writing beforehand by emailing PSLU.Committee@mauicounty.us, referencing PSLU-24. The meeting agenda is at MauiCounty.us.

Call the Office of Council Services at 270-7838 or Paltin’s office at 270-5504 for questions.
