Lā ʻUlu, or Breadfruit Day, is a free celebration of the native Hawaiian staple.
The event will be held this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Maui Nui Botanical Gardens.
Attendees will get the chance to watch cooking demonstrations, sample ʻulu-inspired cuisine, and participate in hands-on cultural activities.
There will also be Hawaiian music and hula performances throughout the day.
