Crews will be repaving Kulanihakoi Street in Kīhei from Sept. 16 to Sept. 20, the Department of Public Works announced.

The road work will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Normal working hours run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The construction is a part of a $4.7 million roadway improvement project for multiple South Maui roads that began last October.

Other areas of the project include East Waipuilani Road, East Lipoa Street, and East Welakahao Road.

Crews will also replace sidewalks, curbs, gutters, curb ramps, and utility collars and install new pavement striping, markers, and signs.
