Hiker Rescued From Olowalu Valley

A middle-aged man was rescued from West Maui mountains on Saturday afternoon.
Maui fire officials say the man was located about 2 miles into Olowalu valley along a stream and could not walk due to a knee injury.
Fire crews airlifted the man to the top of Luawai Street. The man was then taken to the Maui Memorial Medical Center.
