Conference to Cover Resources for Autistic Students

A special education conference that will be held on Maui this week will discuss resource programs for autistic students.

The conference, called “Together for Our Keiki,” will cover special education eligibility, evaluations, and advocacy.

A line-up of experienced general and special education teachers and administrators, as well as other specialists, will share their insights during the event.

The conference will be held on Oct. 26 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Kīhei Charter School. Registration costs $20. To register, and to view a full list of presenters, click here.

Parents may also request childcare services for the event during the registration process. Scholarships are available for a select number of parents.
