The Shops to Host Keiki & Pet Halloween Costume Contest

The Shops at Wailea will be giving away a big prize for the winners of its 3rd annual Keiki Pet & Halloween Costume Contest.

Winners of this yearʻs contest will receive two round trip tickets to any Alaska Airlines destination in the US.

Contestants may enter one costume per category (no multi-category submissions will be accepted).

Here is a list of categories:

• Keiki Ages 0-2
• Keiki Ages 3-5
• Keiki Ages 6-10
• ʻOhana (Family)
• Pets

According to The Shops, over 700 contestants entered last yearʻs competition.

The contest will begin at 3 p.m. this Sunday at The Shops.

Registration for the competition will begin at 2 p.m. outside of Whalerʻs General Store by The Shops south entrance. Pre-registration will also be available online leading up to the event. Click here to register.

Winners will be announced at 5:30 p.m. Following the contest, children and their families are invited to stroll The Shops for trick-or-treating at 6 p.m.

Four-hour event parking vouchers will be available for $5. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Women Helping Women, a group whose mission is to “end domestic violence through advocacy, education, and prevention, and to offer safety, support, and empowerment to women and children.”
