Encarnacion Ramos

December 2, 1938 – October 19, 2019

Encarnacion Gazzingan Ramos, 80, of Kīhei, Maui, passed away Peacefully on Oct. 19, 2019, surrounded by family at home. She was born on Dec. 2, 1938, in Santo Tomas, Isabela, Philippines.

Encarnacion moved to Maui on April 26, 1976, and retired from the Hyatt Regency Maui as a Housekeeper in 2001.

Encarnacion is survived by her Husband, Ricardo; Daughters, Jeny Bissell (Michael), Mhel Vieth (Mark) and Virgie Choy (Rodney); Sons, Nick Ramos (Cathy), Armand Ramos (Aurea) and Ricardo Ramos Jr.; Siblings, Mary Ramirez, Rosmito Gazzingan and Serapio Gazzingan Jr.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her Parents, Serapio Gazzingan Sr. and Purita Guiyab; and Sister, Norie Magbanua.

Brian Christopher Manuel, 61, of Makawao Maui, passed away on Oct.18, 2019 at his Residence. He was born on Oct. 4, 1958, in Honolulu.

Brian was a Vice President for Steamer’s All Island Painting.

Brian is survived by his spouse Gail Valoroso; Son, Brian Manuel Jr. (Larrilyn), Daughter, Berenita Ayala (Daniel); Stepchildren; Keola Valoroso (Rhea), Jeremy Valoroso (Christy), Joseph Rackley; and 12 Grandchildren He is Predeceased by his parents Eusebio Manuel and Victoria Pagan.

Annie Kaliko’okalani Lee, 75, of Kailua-Kona, peacefully passed away on Oct. 15, 2019 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born on March 19, 1944 in Honolulu, she retired as a Hostess at King Kamehameha Hotel in Kailua-Kona, and loved spending time with her family, especially her Grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Lyn K. Marcello of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Raynalynn (Fernando) Maldonado of Queen Creek, Arizona, and Raylynn (Jamie) Lee of Hilo, Hawaii; Sister in laws, Kathleen Lee of Hauppauge, New York, and Tammy Lee of Wailuku, Hawaii; 5 Grandchildren, Pi’ikea, Ikaika, Ka’ao, Ka’uanoe, and Kaho’ea; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

The family of Annie Lee would like to invite all family and friends to A Celebration of Life that will be held on Saturday Nov. 16, 2019 at The Old Airport State Recreation Area Pavilion #2 75-5560 Kuakini Hwy, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

February 28, 1955 – October 15, 2019

Clifford Ah Yim Chang, 64, of Kahului, Maui, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 15, 2019. He was born in Lahaina on Feb. 28, 1955.

Visitations will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2nd, 2019, at Kings Cathedral; services will begin at 11 a.m. and reception to follow.

Clifford was a long time custodian at Lihikai School and also at the Puunene Maui District School. He is survived by his wife, Dallas; daughters, Corrine, Elaine; and son, Joey; brother, Malcolm (Tipawan) Chang; 4 grandchildren, Terenz Hernandez Chang (Shania Kaauamo), Eternity Ray, Everli Lei, Cristino Taclan Chang; and 2 great granddaughters, Naveah and Melani Chang-Kaauamo.
