Mauiʻs own Jim and Honey Bun Haynes and Goodfellow Bros. are among the honorees for this yearʻs National Philanthropy Day.

The NPD awards ceremony recognizes the generosity of local leaders and their contributions to their communities.

This year’s NPD awards will be held on Wednesday at the Sheraton Waikīkī on Oʻahu.

Here is a list of this yearʻs awardees:

  • Jim and Honey Bun Haynes, Outstanding Philanthropists
  • Goodfellow Bros., Outstanding Corporation
  • Terri Fujii, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
  • Dyson Chee, Youth In Philanthropy
  • Myles Shibata, Outstanding Fundraising Professional
  • Cooke Foundation Ltd, Outstanding Foundation
  • Dr. Charman James Akina, Philanthropist (In Memoriam)
