Maui Crime Nov. 17-24: Burglaries, Break-ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 16 burglaries, 9 vehicle thefts and 7 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Nov. 17 to Nov. 24, 2019.

Burglaries were up 78 percent from the week before when 9 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts decreased 18 percent from the week before, when 11 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins were down 41 percent from the previous week, 12 when  incidents were reported.

Below is a complete list of incidents and the time and locations of when and where each occurred.

16 Burglaries

Haʻikū: 

  • Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1:07 p.m. 600 Block of E Kuiaha Road, Haʻikū. Residential, unlawful entry.
  • Thursday, Nov. 21, 2:34 p.m. 1300 Block of Upper Ulumalu Road, Haʻikū. Non-residential, forced entry.
