Maui Crime Nov. 24-30: Burglaries, Break-ins, Thefts

Maui police responded to 12 burglaries, 6 vehicle thefts and 7 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Nov. 24 to Nov. 30, 2019.

Burglaries were down 25 percent from the week before when 16 incidents were reported over the seven day period. Vehicle thefts decreased 33 percent from the week before, when 9 incidents were reported; and vehicle break-ins remained the same from the previous week.

Below is a complete list of incidents and the time and locations of when and where each occurred.

Maui police responded to 12 burglaries, 6 vehicle thefts and 7 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period from Nov. 24 to Nov. 30, 2019.

12 Burglaries

Hāna: 

  • Monday, Nov. 25, 8:51 a.m. 1400 Block of Lower Nāhiku Road, Hāna. Non-residential, unlawful entry.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 26, 11:18 a.m. 300 Block of Waiohonu Road, Hāna. Residential, unlawful entry.

Haʻikū: 

  • Monday, Nov. 25, 4:50 p.m. 100 Block of Awalau Road, Haʻikū. Residential, forced entry.

Hoʻolehua: 

  • Monday, Nov. 25, 3:39 p.m. 3200 Block of Farrington Avenue, Hoʻolehua. Residential, unlawful entry.

  • Friday, Nov. 29, 12:28 p.m. 800 Block of Anapuni Loop, Kāʻanapali at Kāʻanapali Golf Estates Club House. Non-residential, forced entry.

Kahului: 

  • Friday, Nov. 29, 3:21 a.m. 200 Block of Hina Avenue, Kahului at Hale Mahaolu ʻElua. Residential, unlawful entry.

Kīhei: 

  • Wednesday, Nov. 27, 7:11 a.m. 100 Block of N Kīhei Road, Kīhei at Sugar Beach Resort. Residential, unlawful entry.
  • Saturday, Nov. 30, 10:35 a.m. 700 S Kīhei Road, Kīhei. Non-residential, forced entry.

Wailea: 

  • Saturday, Nov. 30, 12: 23 a.m. 3900 Block of Wailea Alanui Drive, Wailea at Four Seasons Wailea. Residential, unlawful entry.

Wailuku: 

  • Tuesday, Nov. 26, 4:37 p.m. 500 Block of Iao Valley Road, Wailuku. Residential, forced entry.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 27, 3:31 am. 900 Block of Eha Street, Wailuku. Non-residential, forced entry.
  • Saturday, Nov. 30, 6:37 p.m. 100 Block of Ainaola Street, Wailuku. Residential, unlawful entry.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 26, 11:55 p.m. 600 Block of Luakini Street, Lahaina. Toyota, white.

Wailea:
