Maui United Way Opens Up Resources to All Maui County 501c3’s in 2020
Maui United Way will be opening up their new online Community Impact Grant Application at the end of January. The organization is inviting eligible health and human service non-profit agencies to apply for the upcoming funding cycle starting on July 1, 2020.
MUW will also be extending their funding cycle from two years to three years. Programs based in Maui County and addressing a critical need in MUW’s impact areas of Education, Income, and Health are encouraged to apply.
The Request for Proposal and Criteria document is now available on the homepage of their website www.mauiunitedway.org by clicking on the “Our Work” tab. The documents can also be obtained by contacting Makana Nunes at (808) 244-8787. Online applications will be available on Jan. 28 and will close on March 4, 2020.
MUW is also beginning a volunteer selection for its Community Impact Grant Allocation selection process. MUW invites volunteers to be advocates for the community, work collaboratively with a group of neighbors and peers to help the organization determine the amount of funding awarded to each of its partners.
The mission of Maui United Way is to empower the Maui community through caring partnerships that enrich people’s lives.
