Free Talk to Discuss Preservation of Native Birds

Ornithologist Laura Berthold of the Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project will be hosting a free presentation on Maui’s native birds.
The one-hour program will discuss bird habitats and the efforts needed to prevent their demise.
The event will be held on Jan. 29 at the Makawao Public Library at 6:30 p.m.
