Serving as a bridge between tradition and innovation, history and progress – Indian Kathak and American Jazz Tap dance – continents and ages apart share parallel stories of struggle and perseverance in SPEAK.

Presented by the Leela Dance Collective, SPEAK features the world’s leading female Kathak dancers and iconic Tap dancers, joined by the world’s leading Indian classical and American jazz musicians.

This critically acclaimed dance collaboration comes to Hawaiʻi for the first time: Feb. 12 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center; Feb. 14 at the Performing Arts Center, University of Hawai’i at Hilo; and February 16 at the Kahilu Theatre in Kamuela on the big island.
