Lahaina Cannery to Usher in Chinese New Year

The public is invited to the Lahaina Cannery Mall to kick off Chinese New Year with a display of martial arts mastery, firecrackers and the traditional “feeding of the lions.”
This free cultural event, led by the enigmatic Au’s Shaolin Arts Society, will usher in “The Year of the Rat” for West Maui residents and visitors.
Lahaina Canneryʻs Chinese New Year celebration will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
