PC: Pacific Cancer Foundation
Pacific Cancer Foundation offers a free six-week cancer survivorship workshop to Maui’s cancer community beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
This workshop is an evidence-based program developed by Stanford University to teach those affected by cancer the necessary skills and techniques to “thrive and survive” during and after cancer care. “The skills that are learned throughout this series really benefit the day-to-day life of a cancer survivor,” said Nancy La Joy, Pacific Cancer Foundation’s Executive Director.
The Thrive & Survive workshop is held at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College, Laulima 227 and is offered free of charge to Maui’s cancer community. Space is limited. To register call 242-7661 or visit PacificCancerFoundation.org for more information. The facility is sponsored by the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College Office of Extended Learning and Workforce Development.
The Pacific Cancer Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing free support services for Maui’s cancer community. The Foundation’s mission is to provide access, knowledge and support to all those affected by cancer in Maui County.
