The Hawai’i Small Business Development Center and the Office of Economic Development will be hosting a “Food Labeling, Safety Plans, and Distribution & Pricing for Small Businesses” informational event at the Maui Research & Technology Center on Wednesday.

Speakers:

Luana Mahi – Owner of Hawaiian Isles Unlimited, LLC
Luana has more than 15 years of experience representing local, national, and
international brands. She is well-versed in the areas of food marketing, pricing, and
distribution.

John Nakashima, RS, PCQI – Owner of Food Safety Services Hawaii, LLC
John has over 30 years of experience as a food safety education specialist and trainer
with the Hawaii Department of Health.

Nina Ann Tanabe, MS, CFS – Principal of Pacific Food Technology, LLC
Nina has 40 years of experience in product development, project management, and
regulatory issues.
