The first complete month of high season is done and home sales are up 33%; condo sales down 2% and land sales down 47%. The majority of home sales was recorded in the Central District with South Maui leading the way with condo sales. Median Sales prices for homes and condo are on the rise with the median sales price of homes up 7% to $782,438. The condo median sales price is up 8% to $569,000.
Thirty-two percent of the recorded sales on Maui happened in the investor areas of West Maui and South Maui.
