Crews with the state Department of Transportation will continue work on Monday, Feb. 24, to remove loose material along the Hāna Highway near Mile 21, where a rock slide was reported on Saturday evening.

According to the department, rock scaling will take place beginning at 8 a.m.

Work will result in temporary traffic stops in both directions for 20-30 minutes at a time, as crews continue to bring down loose material.
