Event Postponed: America’s Got Talent Star Shin Lim Coming to Maui

UPDATE: Event Postponed:

In an letter to Maui Prep Supporters, the Bozich Center Opening Celebration Team, which includes Erica Goldsmith, Janelle Reed, Ma’Ann Sabino and Jim Bozich, organizers said:

“Our thoughts go out to all that are being impacted by Covid-19.  The school’s top priority is to ensure the safety and well being of its students, faculty, staff, ʻohana and community.  Because of this, it has been decided that the Bozich Center Opening Celebration featuring Shin Lim on March 28, 2020 will be postponed and rescheduled for Sept. 12, 2020.”

“Our team has been working on creating a fun evening to celebrate and support the school and we are excited to enjoy it with you once it is safe to do so,” said organizers.

Maui Preparatory Academy will be hosting a live performance from renowned hand and card illusionist Shin Lim.

Lim is the 2015 world FISM champion for close up card magic and the 2018 (Season 13) winner of America’s Got Talent.

The event marks the opening of the school’s Boizch Center for Athletics and Performing Arts.

Proceeds raised from the event will go to Maui Preparatory Academy. Ticket prices are tax deductible and include entertainment and a pre-show dinner on campus.

The performance is slated for March 28, from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the school’s campus in Lahaina. Dinner will be served at 4 p.m. and the show will begin at 7 p.m.

A VIP ticket option is available, which will include up close seating and an after party with Lim at FOND from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
