Central Maui Landfill Reopens; Adjusted Schedule for Refuse Pickup on Maui Island

The Central Maui Landfill reopens today, July 28, and refuse pickup will have adjusted schedules for Maui customers following Hurricane Douglas.

The following changes to refuse pickup schedules applies to residents of Maui and NOT to residents of Molokaʻi or Lānaʻi:

Monday Refuse Pickup

  • All refuse customers regularly scheduled for pickup on Mondays should put their trash bins out for pickup today (Tuesday, July 28).
  • Tuesday Refuse Pickup
  • All refuse customers regularly scheduled for pickup today, Tuesday, July 28 – their pickup day is rescheduled to tomorrow, Wednesday, July 29.
