Coral Reef Alliance Invites Volunteers to Support Their At-Home Planting Kit Project

The Coral Reef Alliance is partnering with Down the Hatch for an at-home native planting opportunity for volunteers from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5. Volunteers will receive a planting kit needed to grow approximately 50 native plants.
We are actually going to partner up with Down the Hatch and their restaurant be a pick up location on:
DATE: Saturday, September 5th
TIME: 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For those interested in volunteering, they will receive 20% off their meal if they dine in on that day! We also have received help from Hawaii Tourism Authority and West Maui Ridge 2 Reef Initiative.
- Organizers are still offering the same options:
OPTION 1: CORAL provides seeds only. Volunteers donate the pots, soil and tray.
OPTION 2: CORAL provides the seeds, pots, and tray. Volunteers donate the soil.
OPTION 3: CORAL provides the seeds, pots, tray and soil. - Each kit contains supplies needed to grow approximately 50 native plants. Volunteers who are interested in helping with more than one tray of plants are asked to specify how many trays they would like.
