Maui Mayor Michael Victorino and First lady Joycelyn greeted cars with family and kids at the HoloHolo Drive-Through event Saturday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the County of Maui, Kalana O Maui Building.

The free family event featured holiday music, Christmas carolers, Festive lights and Decorations and a shaka from Santa.

More than 1,000 gift bags stuffed with toys, candies, apples and oranges were gifted to passing motorists, just the way Mayor Victorino remembers when he was a kid.

“It was great to see the smiling faces and cheerful families as they enjoyed the holiday event,” said Mayor Victorino. “I want to wish everyone a Mele Kalikimaka. Please be safe and stay healthy throughout this Holiday Season.”

The event was made possible through support from volunteers and employees with Hawaiian Electric Company, Minit Medical, 100% Kamaʻāina, Kupale Technologies and Kāʻanapali Beach Hotel.
