West Maui Taxpayers Association to hold annual members meeting on Jan. 7, 2020 at 5:30 pm.

The West Maui Taxpayers Association (WMTA) will hold its Annual Members Meeting on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, via Zoom.  The public is invited to this always event. It also will be recorded for replay on the WMTA website via a special link. 

Welcome and short business meeting begins at 5:30 PM with official WMTA business, including the election of the Board of Directors.  Slate of Directors include: Lee Chamberlain, Dean Louie, Richard Jarman, Rick Nava, Gregg Nelson, Jess “Joe” Park, Joseph Pluta, John Seebart, Fereshteh Tali and Dennis Terpin.  Information to vote by proxy is on the last page of the December newsletter, which all members should have received. This information also is posted on the website. Complete and return ASAP.

Immediately following this short business meeting will be presentations on issues important to the West Maui community.

Last year nearly 300 people attended. But due to State and County emergency orders due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting is being held virtually on Zoom.  Invited guest speakers are: Sen. Roz Baker, State Rep. Angus McKelvey, Mayor Michael Victorino and West Maui Councilmember Tamara Paltin. Special Presentations will be made by Dean Louie and Dennis Terpin, WMTA Directors on Educational resources for communications and health and safety.
