Maui Lane Closures: Jan. 2-8

The state Department of Transportation has several road projects planned this week on Maui that will result in lane closures. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

— Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) —  

1) Lahaina

Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile markers 19.6 and 19.9, Front Street and Aholo Road, on Monday, Jan. 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming work.

2) Lahaina

Single lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between mile markers 19.8 and 21, Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road, on Tuesday, Jan. 5, through Thursday, Jan. 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

3) Lahaina

Single lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 31.5 and 41.6, Honolua Place and Kahekili Highway, on Monday, Jan. 4, through Friday, Jan. 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

— Kaʻahumanu (Route 32) —

1) Wailuku

Left lane closure on Kaʻahumanu (Route 32) in the westbound direction between mile markers 0.5 and 0.8, Waiʻale Road and Kainani Street, on Friday, Jan. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

2) Wailuku

Left lane closure on Kaʻahumanu (Route 32) in the westbound direction between mile markers 0.7 and 0.9, Kainani Street and Maui Lani Parkway, on Friday, Jan. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

— Main Street (Route 32) —

1) Wailuku (night work)

Right lane closure on Main Street (Route 32) in the westbound direction between mile markers 0.1 and 0.4, S Church Street and Central Avenue, on Saturday evening, Jan. 2, through Sunday morning, Jan. 3, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for utility work.

— Hāna Highway (Route 36) —

1) Haʻiū

Left lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 36) in the eastbound direction between mile markers 7 and 16, Holo Place and Haumana Road, on Monday, Jan. 4, through Friday, Jan. 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., for landscape maintenance.
